A Saffa Wine Dinner — by Springbok Wines, at Call Me Al

On Thursday 12 November, Abilio and Alan of Springbok Wines take over the room. The duo behind Hong Kong's home for South African wine, they champion independent winemakers and family estates with one shared philosophy: minimal intervention — wines that taste of where they come from, with nothing masking the grape. They've crafted a five-wine pairing for five of Call Me Al's dishes, and they'll be here in person to introduce every glass:

• Peaches & burrata — Chenin Blanc

• Eggplant — Pinot Noir

• Pork belly — Pinotage

• Rump — Tempranillo

• Dessert — dessert wine

HK$700 net per person. Five courses, five pours, two founders at your table.

Space is limited to 25 seats. Secure yours with a HK$150 deposit — the balance is settled at the dinner.
