After immigrating to Canada at the age of 7, Tamby developed his sense of humor as a social defense mechanism in lieu of speaking fluent English. He has been continuously refining his comedic voice through trial and error ever since.

Tamby represented Hong Kong in Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World Contest, was the winner of the Bangkok division of the Magners International Comedy Competition 2018, placed second at the regional finals, has been selected as a finalist at numerous international comedy festivals, and has appeared on TV like four times. His unique perspective, incisive writing, and adequate stage presence has made him a popular headline act around Asia.

“He’s so easy. So natural. And what’s even better, he’s so topical. ” - Barry Hilton

Garron Chiu is an American born stand up comedian based in Hong Kong.

A mainstay in the Hong Kong comedy scene, he was featured on Comedy Central’s “Stand Up Asia!” season 2, and was the winner of the 2018 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. He has made people laugh on stage in 37 cities across 18 countries, mostly in Asia.

He has performed with world class acts such as Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Buress, Ari Shaffir, Tony Woods, Roy Wood Jr., Pete Lee, Alonzo Bodden, Paul Ogata and many more. On stage you will find him talking about his wife, his dog, which one he loves more, as well as if he is too Asian or not Asian enough. All while making people laugh along the way. Oh, he also rocks the best eyebrows.

“Garron is a powerhouse on stage. He grabs the audience upfront and smashes.” – Andy Curtain, Founder, Kung Fu Komedy

Maitreyi Karanth has sold out a dozen one-woman shows at the legendary TakeOut Comedy Club, and starred in the film My Indian Boyfriend (2021) now available on Disney+.

As an actor and producer, Maitreyi took up stand-up comedy as just an extension of her real life persona at the age of 44. Being married and having lived outside India for 22 years, first in the Middle East and now in Hong Kong, she has collected a treasure chest of funny experiences across different geographies and cultures.

After her very second open mic she was spotted by Saurabh Pant who was then touring Hong Kong and asked to open for him. Since then she has opened for Tom Cotter, Gina Yashere, Atul Khatri, Amit Tandon, Tom Rhodes, Paul Ogatta and Sean Patton. She has also performed in Bangkok, Singapore and India as a featured comedian.

Jason Strickland is an English stand up comic who started in London 2010. Since then he has performed across the globe and is one of the top comedians in Hong Kong. His natural stage presence and quick-witted crowdwork make all of his performances uniquely engaging, with no two sets ever quite the same. With his wide arsenal of stories and easy demeanor, you'll get swept up in his world between bouts of laughter before you even notice it. Don't miss out on this rising star!

"I especially loved Jason Strickland, he was witty and fast on his feet." - TripAdvisor

Ashley James is a stand-up comedian from London who moved to Hong Kong to escape his desk job to another desk job but with a better view. Ashley’s style of humour is saying horrible things to make you laugh, and then making you laugh at his life. Ashley's sardonic wit and unique stage presence quickly saw him become a regular in Hong Kong. He has opened for many marquee acts, including the biggest stand-up comedy show in Hong Kong of 2021: Vivek's Mahbubani's Humour Along My Hairline at Ocean Park, and has sold out his two previous headline shows: I Am Trash and The Great Trashley. Despite this, he is annoyed about how he is recognised more for making all the memes on Chaotic Hong Kong Expats.

"Ashley delivers a hilarious blend of British humour and local topics that will make you laugh." - Vivek Mahbubani

Anthony is American-born, Hong Kong-based, and winner of Comedy.HK's Best New Comedian of the Year 2024 Contest.

By day, Anthony has an office job where he is boring and responsible. By night, he says outrageous things in an attempt to make strangers laugh. Please do not tell his coworkers (or anyone, really) about his comedy.
