Vivek Mahbubani is a Hong Kong-bred bilingual stand-up comedian performing in both Cantonese and English. Having been crowned the Funniest Person (in Chinese) in Hong Kong in 2007 followed by his victory in the English category at the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition in 2008, Vivek has had the opportunity to take his sense of humor all over the world including Hong Kong, China, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, Australia, Canada and USA.

In 2014, the World Famous Laugh Factory in USA ranked Vivek as one of the top 10 comedians in their Annual Funniest Person in thean World Competition.

In 2015, he was handpicked as one of the comedians to represent Asia’s best in Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s inaugural “Comedy Zone Asia” shows.

In 2016, he was featured in Comedy Central’s first ever “Stand up Asia!” shows. One of Vivek’s passions is reading and his favorite book is Sun Tzu’s Art of War. Oddly, his favorite color is hot pink.

Bryan Bentley has been performing stand-up comedy in Hong Kong since 2018. He has sold out multiple headliner shows, is a regular feature at TakeOut Comedy as well as Backstage Comedy, and hosts The Aftermath Open Mic weekly. With a mix of observational comedy about being a self-proclaimed “Boujie Ass Negro” along with a dose of healthy self-reflection, his energetic personality, and unique look always brings a good time.

-

Baiwan is an engaging talent in China’s rapidly expanding stand-up comedy scene, best known for her sharp observational humor and highly relatable storytelling. Performing at live comedy clubs across major Chinese cities, she has built a dedicated following through her laid-back stage presence and witty commentary on the absurdities of modern urban life, high-pressure work culture, and everyday relationships.

Garron Chiu is an American born stand up comedian based in Hong Kong.A mainstay in the Hong Kong comedy scene, he was featured on Comedy Central’s “Stand Up Asia!” season 2, and was the winner of the 2018 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. He has made people laugh on stage in 37 cities across 18 countries, mostly in Asia.

He has performed with world class acts such as Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Buress, Ari Shaffir, Tony Woods, Roy Wood Jr., Pete Lee, Alonzo Bodden, Paul Ogata and many more. On stage you will find him talking about his wife, his dog, which one he loves more, as well as if he is too Asian or not Asian enough. All while making people laugh along the way.
Oh, he also rocks the best eyebrows.

“Garron is a powerhouse on stage. He grabs the audience upfront and smashes.” – Andy Curtain, Founder, Kung Fu Komedy

Rose Rage has been doing comedy in Hong Kong since what seems like the beginning of time, but is actually only 13 years or so, mostly in pants. She’s a founding member of People’s Liberation Improv, and has performed with them in Beijing, Seoul, Manila, Macau, and Hong Kong, in pants. Although she never won, she was a finalist in TakeOut Comedy’s Funniest Person competition and has opened for Paul Ogata and Tom Cotter, in pants. Recently she decided to shake things up a bit and do standup without pants, but the horrified reaction of the audience led her to believe that performing in a dress would be…better. She hasn’t actually been on TV, but has watched more than nine programmes, both with and without pants.

After immigrating to Canada at the age of 7, Tamby developed his sense of humor as a social defense mechanism in lieu of speaking fluent English. He has been continuously refining his comedic voice through trial and error ever since.

Tamby represented Hong Kong in Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World Contest, was the winner of the Bangkok division of the Magners International Comedy Competition 2018, placed second at the regional finals, has been selected as a finalist at numerous international comedy festivals, and has appeared on TV like four times. His unique perspective, incisive writing, and adequate stage presence has made him a popular headline act around Asia.

“He’s so easy. So natural. And what’s even better, he’s so topical. ” - Barry Hilton
